Gratitude

As we exit the month of November, I would like to take a moment to reflect on the beauty of the last month. As the Chief Culture Officer at Capstone Homes, Rachel Minks adapts a theme for each month of the year, and because Thanksgiving Day is in November, it is the perfect month for the theme of gratitude. 

Our focus around the office over the past 30 days has been on gratitude. We have had informal discussions, group meetings, and leadership seminars, all of which have led to a natural discussion about what each of us are grateful for. 

We live in a great country with freedom to do so much of what we want to do and to follow our dreams. We all have difficulties somewhere in our lives as well but when we are in a grateful frame of mind, the difficulties suddenly become much easier to bear. 

As a home building company, we are especially grateful for our customers, trade partners, suppliers, land sellers, and city officials that help make this whole process work. 

The Bible tells us to rejoice always, pray continually, and to give thanks in all circumstances for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. What a beautiful way that is to live, not just in November, but all year around.
