First Time Homebuyers
October 27, 2023
The best part of being a first time homebuyer is Capstone Homes wants to make it really easy for you! Before the exciting part of finding and putting an offer on your first home, you’ve got to look into finances. Don’t let that scare you though! A FHA (Federal Housing Administration) loan allows you to do only a 3.5% down payment. If you would like to put 5 -10% down, then you would choose a conventional loan. Some home buyers choose to put down even more than that.
Pick a Lender
Choosing a lender is another important task to complete before looking at homes because you want someone you can trust and are comfortable with. When looking for a lender, compare interest rates, any fees, and their customer service. Once you have a lender you are comfortable with, you should now get pre-approved!
Choose a Mortgage
Now that you have a lender, ask plenty of questions so you can figure out what mortgage will work best for you and your situation.
Start Searching for Your Home
Yay! Now you get to start the exciting part and get to look for your perfect home. It can be a rollercoaster of emotions, but it will all be worth it in the end!
